If you are following a model programme, you can set up a timetable that contains no overlaps. Make sure you verify your timetables for both semesters at the beginning of the academic year!
Due to logistical reasons, it is possible for two lectures to be given at two separate places at the same time. This will appear on your SisA timetable as a conflict; however, it simply means you can attend one of both lectures.
Some types of lectures (e.g. seminars or practicals) are divided into several attendance groups. If there is a timetable conflict between your attendance group and another lecture, select different group in SisA.
If there is an overlap between a mandatory and an elective course, then you can either select another elective course or you can postpone your choice for a year (the overlap might disappear in the following year’s timetables).
If there is a timetable conflict between two lectures, you should contact the faculty student administration office via the Helpdesk: Submit a ticket.
If you are not following a model programme, please see 'I’m following a personalised programme and can see a timetable conflict in SisA. How can I resolve this issue?'
