Graduation - Graduating in February

Oplossing

For whom?

For students

  • registered for the academic year
  • with a limited number of credits
  • for a diploma year bachelor or master
  • for subjects taught entirely in the 1st semester and
  • fully examined in the 1st examination period (January)
  • and/or for the master's thesis.
  • How to apply?

You apply for this yourself between 1 November and 31 December via your SisA Selfservice: applications > new application. Then choose 'graduation in February'. This procedure closes on 1 January 23.59.

A manual from the Central Education Administration can be found here: Manual: I want to graduate in February. How can I request this?

Important to know

Students who apply for the January session take a commitment. Those who have not submitted the final master's thesis by the January deadline will be allowed to defend in June on condition that this is reported in writing to the FSW Faculty Student Administration (via this helpdesk) no later than the deadline for submitting the final master's thesis for the January session. If this is not done, the examination opportunity for the first session is forfeit and you will automatically be referred to the second session.

You will not receive an automatic confirmation email when you register for graduation in February.
