Excusing yourself for an exam
If you do not wish to participate in an exam, indicate this via SisA self-service under the 'Requests' tile. This allows you to excuse yourself from an exam. Those who do not participate in an exam and do not apologise will be registered as 'absent'. If you cannot excuse yourself via SisA self-service (e.g. for year subjects), please notify us via this Helpdesk.
Excusing yourself for a replacement exam
If you will not participate for an exam for which you had been granted permission to take it on the replacement exam day, you must inform the Faculty Student Administration.
When is it compulsory to go to an exam?
Students with a Residence Permit and students under examination contract (paid educational leave) must participate in the examination, excusing yourself is not sufficient.
If, as a regular student, you do not wish to participate in an exam, you do not have to ask for 'zero' on the exam. Apologising for participating in the first examination session always gives you the opportunity to participate in the second examination session for this subject. Registration for the second examination session for this course is compulsory.
